"Act locally" is a program of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation which has been implemented since 2000 by the Academy for the Development of Philanthropy in Poland.
The objective of the "Act locally" programme is to activate local communities around various common good objectives. grant competitions, within which the projects initiating the cooperation of residents from small localities are supported, are the means for implementing the Programme.
Under "Act locally" Program support is offered to common people who wish to act together to serve their community.
"Czajnia" Association is one of the 67 Act Locally Centres and it allots 55000 PLN in the form of small grants for NGOs and informal groups from Tomaszów district at a steady pace every year.
